Some pics with the new SW150PL

Just a couple of moon pics in terrible seeing but I just had to see how the camera performed through the new scope :)

Re: Some pics with the new SW150PL

Thanks all, I cant wait to get it out there on a clear night now :D I should also say Harrison scopes whom i purchased the motor drives from were excellent not only did they deliver a replacement set of motors within 48 hours but they also picked up the old set from me, altogether a very good service. But best of all is the scope WOW! even the view finder shows excellent views, looking around the scope its clear this may only be 20mm larger apeture than the 130 i had before but its worlds away in quality of optics and build and performance. Really glad I bought the electronic focuser though so many thanks for that i would of missed that!

Re: Some pics with the new SW150PL

Yes i really cant wait for a shot at Jupiter again, Saturday night looks mostly clear where I am so I am going to try Saturn before it vaishes totally and Mars if i can get it. I believe this scope has opened a hole load of posibilities, just messing around last night I could see that stars register on my webcam really well, before only the brightest stars registered and then only with max exposure, now it seems most stars are seen even the dim ones, this will open a whole new world of doubles and triplets ect so basically my whole world has expanded. Yesterday while trying to get Saturn before it sank below the rooftops I am sure i saw at least one moon close to Saturn (and i mean close) a very faint tiny little gem, now for me seeing that is a great achievement.
